  • Description: Sanz the ventriloquist presents a show sparring his automata, which he gives movement and voice, providing them with their own personality. The naughty boy, the teacher, the old couple, the gentleman, the kwee old maid, the drunkard who holds meetings, the don Juan or the thug present on the stage a view of life based on irony, shamelessness or audacity and it is guided by a very pure Spanish intertitles. After each act, Sanz shows the camera the complex mechanism that his characters hide behind their almost human appearance. Next, his most famous automaton, Mr Liborio, stars a story of jealousy that will bring him to leave the company and go back to his home town. There, among real characters, he will live different situations: smothered with the attentions of the people from the same place, he will preside over the singular everyday taurine events, he will be present at horse races, at the casino and a masked ball until, novelty was over, he is ignored and he feels nostalgic about his previous life finally coming back with his master and the other automata.
